Mr. Asit Tolat Residence

Mr. Tolat and his family share an avid interest in art forms, especially Garba dance. This driving interest became a key consideration for designing.

A large garba ground is located in front of the site, and to capture its view during Navratri, a ‘balcony’ projected out serves as the best spot. With a highly modernist design, the elements of frames, surfaces and voids makes a majestic appearance whilst keeping the structure still grounded.
